High-wattage tubes are great for fast-drying prints, but they gethot. Really hot. If your cooling or air-extraction isn’t up to the task, you’re going to see your substrates warping. It’s a headache you don’t want. The Build Quality We use high-purity fused quartz for the envelopes. Why? Because it lets the UV radiation through without soaking it up. Depending on what you’re doing, we can add specialized coatings to the glass. This helps shift the spectral output or keeps ink splatter from ruining the tube.
