If you’re running a modern printing line, your UV lamps are basically the heart of the whole operation. They aren’t just “lights”—they’re what force your inks and coatings to snap from a liquid to a solid in a fraction of a second. When you’re pushing a high-speed line, there’s no room for error. If your UV dosage is even a little bit off, you’re looking at uncured ink and smeared prints. And nobody wants to scrap a whole run because of a smudge. The secret is in the spectrum. We build our lamps to hit very specific wavelengths—mostly in the UVC and UVB ranges. Why? Because that’s exactly what the photoinitiators in your ink need to react instantly.
