The heat factor Here’s the thing about GaI lamps: the chemistry inside shifts the light spectrum to make curing more targeted. But when you’re running a high-wattage tube, you’re dealing with some serious radiation density. You’ve got to keep a close eye on your conveyor speed. If things move too slowly, that heat can warp your thin materials or scorch the edges of your work. It’s a balancing act. We tweak the wattage so your ink sets perfectly without ruining the substrate. Built for your actual setup We don’t do “one size fits all.” That’s not how real shops work. Our lamps are designed to be drop-in replacements, so you aren’t rebuilding your whole system. We use high-purity quartz glass because nothing is worse than “solarization”—that annoying clouding that happens over time and kills your UV output. To make them last, just keep your cooling fans dusted and make sure your power supply is steady.
